Kósmos is a planet rich in magic essence. It can be found as an important component in the soil and the air, and seems to be in the genetic makeup of every Kósmos species. Due to its high content, some species are able to harness this magic to their will. It is thought that a clean, uninterrupted connection to the planet’s magic combined with an inner peace results in Harmony— a state of peacefulness and heightened senses. Eláfkeria are sapient and highly intelligent creatures, which has led them to become one of Kósmos’s dominant species. Alongside this, their sociability has led them to build civilizations across the world, though connections between continents have become severed after the Alicorn Hunt. |

What are Eláfkeria?

Eláfkeria ( sing. Eláfkeri /ˌɛ'læfkɛri/ || pl. Eláfkeria /ˌɛ'læfkɛriæ/ ) are large, egg-laying ungulates characterized by a long horn on their foreheads, feathered tails, and a pair of strong wings. The only known extant subspecies is the Koinos Eláfkeri ( E. Koinos Eláfkeri ). Koinos Eláfkeria originated in the Ágape continent, and are currently found in Ágape, Manta Gi, and Itule Ala. Eláfkeri society is heavily based on the claim that Harmonic virtues lead to a life that is good for oneself and for their environment. Because of this, virtues and vices tend to be among a fawn’s first teachings. |
Harmony & Activities
The state of perfect connection between oneself and the Kósmos is referred to as Harmony. It is thought that reaching Harmony is a slow process achieved through the cultivation of one’s virtues and their connection to the world.
The virtues that tend to be cultivated were nine virtues first coined by the Olakálos— a group of ancient creatures that roamed the world eons ago, sharing teachings of peace to those who sought them.
Harmony Points, or HarP, are game progression points that an Eláfkeri earns each time they're depicted in an art piece! These points work as experience that helps an Eláfkeri level up through Harmonic ranks, and unlock special rank rewards!

Questing is a vital part of an Eláfkeri's life. Ever since they reach their fledgling stage, an Eláfkeri learns to quest to learn about the world they live in, and how to survive it.
Quests grant an Eláfkeri different items, which can fulfill different purposes, from being used in Crafting other items, to being useful in specific activities.
Questing also brings an Eláfkeri closer to nature, granting it a HarP bonus.

Not all parts of Kósmos are as friendly as they seem!
The Eláfkeria ARPG contains horror areas with themes of both physical and psychological horror that are not suitable for all audiences. These areas are completely optional, and playing them does not give you an advantage in the game!
All horror areas, such as quests, locations, etc. are properly labeled at the beginning of their pages, and can be avoided by the player if desired.
Please note that some horror area mechanics can cause irreversible changes to your Eláfkeri.

Lore & Events
Kósmos history has been slowly put back together by different civilizations through their own accounts of how the world has changed around them. Certainly, not all accounts are accurate— sometimes exaggerated for entertainment, sometimes to deceive— so the task is nowhere near easy. Still, Eláfkeria communities began gathering their own historical knowledge around the time settlements became commonplace for the species, and their accounts have been of help in finding out what Kósmos has been through.

Because of their high sociability and sapience, Eláfkeria communities have developed cultures that range from global species traditions, such as the seasonal festivals, to specific customs and mannerisms from each group, like Ágape’s Flower Couplet dance, or Manta Gi´s Quilin Masks.
All around the globe, Eláfkeria celebrate life and culture through festivals and ceremonies.
World Events are special events where players can interact with Kósmos culture, its traditions, and sometimes even its history, through their Eláfkeria!
