Barring
( nBa / BaBa )
• Rarity - Uncommon •
A gene that creates rows of marks across the primary feathers, giving a barred look on the wings, tail, or both.
Samples
None, yet.
Coverage & Explanation
At minimum, it creates two rows of barring, on either point: the wings, or the tail. The barring may be on the topside, the underside, or both, as long as it's visible.
At maximum, it may create as many bars as desired within the maximum range.
In dominant form, it may create barring on the legs as well.
The minimum range on this gene shows the minimum amount of rows, not the placement.
The maximum range on this gene shows the placement area, not the maximum size a mark can be.
This gene may break into parts.

Notes
- This gene may affect the skin.
- This gene may not affect the keratin or eyes.
- While this gene allows to be broken into parts, it must still go across the feathers ( e.g. pointing from the first feather to the last, instead of pointing from a feather tip to the shoulder blade ).
- Broken patterns may follow natural patterns ( e.g. large spots, rough/messy marks, dashes, arrow-like marks ).
