Chipmunk
( nChk / ChkChk )
• Rarity - Common •
A gene that creates stripes across the body with inner stripes among them, resembling chipmunks or badgers.
Samples
None, yet.
Coverage & Explanation
At minimum, it must create one pair of outer stripes with an inner stripe.
At maximum, it may create as many outer stripe pairs as desired, and at least half of them must contain an inner stripe.
In dominant form, the coverage extends to the dominant range.
The maximum range on this gene shows the placement area, not the maximum size a mark can be.
Stripes must be oriented horizontally across the body.

Notes
- This gene may affect the skin, keratin, and/or eyes.
- On a longer tail, the dominant coverage includes the entire tail.
- Inner stripes may not break into pieces, and should be roughly the same length of the stripes encasing them; if one of the stripes encasing them is shorter, the inner stripe may be as short.
- Outer stripes may converge together, forcing the inner stripe to be cut off as the outer stripes become a single stripe.
- Outer stripes that don't contain an inner stripe may come in singles, if desired.
